2020, MARCH 09 – Italy’s Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has announced that Serie A, along with other sporting events in the country will be suspended indefinitely as the country continues to struggle with the COVID-19 crisis.
With latest figures revealing 463 deaths from a total of 9,172 infections, the Italian government has put the country in lockdown.
All movement across the country is to be avoided with exception to work, necessities or emergencies; gatherings in public places are now prohibited.
