SINGAPORE, 2023, MAY 03 – Football fans in Singapore can look forward to a thrilling European football match in July 2023. TEG Sport and Left Field Live have announced that Tottenham Hotspur FC, one of the top Premier League teams, will play against AS Roma, an Italian football powerhouse, on 26 July at the National Stadium in the Singapore Sports Hub. Spurs’ pre-match training session will be open to fans, and AIA, Tottenham Hotspur’s global principal partner, will be a key partner for the match in Singapore. The club will also spend a good part of their pre-season preparation in the Asia Pacific, engaging in a range of activities to interact with fans and support good causes.

Tottenham Hotspur will begin their pre-season Asia Pacific tour with a match against West Ham United FC in Perth on 18 July before moving on to Singapore. On the other hand, AS Roma will start their Asian tour in Singapore before travelling to South Korea for other fixtures.

Tottenham Hotspur last visited Singapore in 2019 and thrilled fans with a 3-2 win over Juventus, thanks to Harry Kane‘s stoppage-time goal. This year, fans can expect another exciting match as AS Roma will be led by two-time UEFA Champions League winning manager Jose Mourinho.

TEG Sport and Left Field Live have a track record of organising successful events at the National Stadium, including the Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy (Liverpool FC vs Crystal Palace FC) and the Brazil Global Tour in 2019, where Brazil played two international friendly matches with Senegal and Nigeria.

Tickets for the open training session and the match will be available via Ticketek Singapore, starting from 8 May 2023, 10:00am.
