JDT CELEBRATE HISTORIC QUADRUPLE WITH ‘REALM OF 12’ TROPHY CELEBRATION

ISKANDAR PUTERI, Johor – More than 32,000 supporters packed Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Sunday night as Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) celebrated another historic campaign with the ‘Realm of 12’ trophy celebration following the club’s domestic quadruple-winning 2025–26 season.

A crowd of 32,230 turned up for the festivities, which featured live performances, a fan carnival, fireworks and a record-breaking drone light show before culminating in the Malaysia Super League trophy presentation.

The Regent of Johor and JDT owner, Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, arrived together with his consort, Che’ Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor, while Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi was among the dignitaries in attendance.

Entertainment throughout the evening included performances by international artistes 50 Cent, Onefour, Big Ben and dance crew Jabbawockeez. The FanFest, which ran throughout the day, also featured performances by local artistes including Ella, Cherpen, Orkes A. Hizadin, K.O.I, Def Jam Malaysia featuring Lil J and Killa Driz, SonaOne and Plague of Happiness, alongside carnival activities and lucky draws.

As night fell, the celebration reached another highlight with a fireworks display followed by a drone light show involving more than 2,000 drones. The performance was recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records for the “Most Drones Used in a Light Show”, creating a spectacular backdrop for the club’s championship celebrations.

The evening concluded with Malaysia Football League (MFL) President Datuk Ab Ghani Hassan presenting the Malaysia Super League trophy to JDT, as players and supporters celebrated the club’s 12th consecutive league title together.

The event was organised as a tribute to JDT supporters, whom the club regards as its “12th player”, following another dominant domestic season.

JDT completed their domestic quadruple a week earlier after defeating Kuching City FC 2-0 in the Malaysia Cup final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil to secure a fourth consecutive Malaysia Cup title.

The Southern Tigers also lifted the Charity Shield and FA Cup while extending their remarkable unbeaten run in the Malaysia Super League to 108 matches, capping another memorable campaign before turning their attention to the new season.
