HEINEKEN® SHARES THE DRAMA OF THE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WITH MALAYSIAN FANS

UEFA Champions League legend Ronaldinho arrives for the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour presented by Heineken® in Malaysia.
The drama will continue after the tour with exclusive football experiences in April and May.

KUALA LUMPUR, 2018, APRIL 07Heineken® once again delivered a world class experience to Malaysian fans who welcomed the iconic UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour presented by Heineken®.

This year’s campaign, ‘Share The Drama, Share The Trophy’ kicked off in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with the grand arrival of the coveted UEFA Champions League Trophy. Two Malaysian fans – Chaw Tze Kien and Hui Wai Hong were given the honour of escorting the coveted “Ol’ Big Ears” alongside world renowned football legend, Ronaldinho in a grandeur entrance into Pavilion. The entourage accompanying the trophy and Ronaldinho were prominent Malaysian UEFA Champions League fans from different fields – ​actor, JC Chee; entrepreneur and philanthropist, Deborah Henry; football legends, Datuk Santokh Singh and Datuk Soh Chin Aun.

“The UEFA Champions League Trophy is among the most prestigious in the world and winning the tournament is a coveted title for any player. I’m excited to be here in Kuala Lumpur on the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour presented by Heineken®, to share the thrill and honor of experiencing the trophy up close with Malaysian fans,” said Heineken® ambassador, Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho conveyed his delight in seeing Heineken® and UEFA’s efforts in bringing the UEFA Champions League Trophy back to Malaysia after seven years.

Malaysia is one of only six countries selected for the 2018 UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour presented by Heineken®. Accessible to public at the main concourse of Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur until 10PM, Sunday 8th April, the tour activity is but the first of many experiences for fans as part of the ‘Share The Drama, Share The Trophy’ campaign.
