2023, JANUARY 15 – Singapore national midfielder Song Ui-young has left Lion City Sailors FC to join Thai League 1 side Nongbua Pitchaya FC, according to an announcement by the club.
Song spent 11 seasons playing for Home United FC and Lion City Sailors FC in Singapore after arriving from Incheon at the end of 2011.
He stated that he wanted to leave his comfort zone and find new opportunities to develop as a player.
