2023, MARCH 21 – Iuri Lapicus, a former ONE Championship Lightweight title challenger, has passed away at the age of 27 following a motorcycle accident in Pogliano Milanese, Italy on March 17.
He was airlifted to Niguarda Hospital in Milan, where he succumbed to his injuries three days later.
Lapicus fought for ONE Championship five times between 2019 and 2022, leaving a lasting impression on the MMA community.
His friend and teammate, Giorgio Petrosyan, shared the news of his passing on Instagram.
The tragic loss of Lapicus has left the MMA community mourning, and our thoughts go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
