SINGAPORE, 2023, MARCH 01 – The Singapore Men’s National Team is set to play two international ‘A’ friendly matches against Hong Kong and Macau during the upcoming FIFA window in March.

Takayuki Nishigaya’s charges will take on Hong Kong at the Mongkok Stadium on 23 March following which the Lions will then face host Macau in the second fixture. While the match details for the latter are currently pending the host’s finalisation of its local arrangements, it is expected to be confirmed by next week.

The Lions, ranked 160th in the world, last faced Hong Kong (146th) in August 2017 in a friendly that ended 1-1; while their previous encounter with Macau (182nd) was a 2-2 draw in October 2014 that saw Khairul Amri bagging both goals.

The finalised traveling squad and other details will be announced closer to the start of the window, which will run from 20 to 28 March.
