JOHOR BAHRU, 2023, FEBRUARY 18 – Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) unveiled their latest Nike kits for the 2023 season at a launch event held at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, which was attended by enthusiastic fans on 18 February 2023.
The new JDT jerseys for this season are available in two designs – a blue and red home kit, and a white away kit. The home kit features a camouflage design, which retains the distinctive red and blue colours of the Johor flag, and includes a collar for the first time, making it a unique addition for collectors.
In contrast, the away jersey features a primarily white colour scheme, with red stripes on the shoulders and blue at the back of the jersey.
“This year is the ninth year of JDT’s collaboration with Nike, which has celebrated continuous
success since 2014. These jerseys are a collective identity of the club’s legacy and success on
and off the field.” said Nike.
The new season’s jerseys also retained Nike Dri-Fit‘s advanced design concept.
To unveil the new jerseys, a video lasting one minute and forty seconds was released, featuring various JDT players and the team’s owner, HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor. The video also alluded to JDT’s preparedness to dominate the upcoming 2023 season.
Moreover, as part of JDT’s collaboration with Socios.com, which was established in September of the previous year, both jerseys feature the logo of the platform. Socios.com serves as a connecting platform for fans and offers reward opportunities.
The JDT Online Store and official distributors, sanctioned by Southern Tigers Sdn Bhd (STSB) across all Johor districts, offer fans the opportunity to purchase the jerseys. The jerseys are priced at RM299 each for adults and RM235 each for kids’ sizes.
In conjunction with the launch, a carnival was also hosted, featuring numerous family-oriented activities, games for kids, and food trucks dedicated to Southern Tigers fans.
