JOHOR BAHRU, 2022, DECEMBER 05 – Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) and Malaysia national winger Safawi Rasid is set to move to Thai League 1 side Ratchaburi FC after the Harimau Malayas’ involvement in the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022.
JDT technical director Héctor Bidoglio confirmed the 25-year-old’s loan deal, along with Malian winger Moussa Sidibé.
“The Southern Tigers would like to wish both players good luck for next season,” said Bidoglio in a statement on the club’s social media platforms.
Safawi joined JDT from Terengganu FC in 2017 and had a three-month loan stint with Portuguese club Portimonense SC in 2020.
