2024, MAY 09 – The Malaysian Football League(MFL) announced today that the Charity Cup match between Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) and Selangor FC, scheduled for Friday, 10 May 2024, at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, has been cancelled following the Red Giants’ decision to withdraw from the match citing security reasons.
Selangor FC’s decision was communicated through an official letter to MFL, resulting in JDT being awarded a 3-0 victory by walkover and receiving 3 points for the Super League (LS1) match.
