ALISHA LEHMANN COMPLETES MOVE TO JUVENTUS

TURIN, 2024, JULY 07 – Alisha Lehmann has transferred from the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) club Aston Villa Women FC to Juventus Women FC. The Swiss winger leaves Villa after seven seasons in England, joining her partner Douglas Luiz in Turin.

Lehmann is Juventus’ second signing from the WSL this week, following Swedish international Hanna Bennison‘s move from Everton Women FC on Wednesday.

Lehmann’s transfer to Juventus marks the end of three seasons with Villa and seven consecutive campaigns in the WSL. During her time at Aston Villa, Lehmann made 74 appearances and scored 14 goals. She previously played for West Ham United Women FC and Everton. She had two years remaining on her current contract, with an option for an additional year.

Now a Juventus Women player, Lehmann has signed a contract with the Bianconere until 30 June 2027. She will link up with her Swiss international teammate Viola Calligaris at the club who just extended her stay till 30 June 2026, making her loan move from Paris Saint-Germain Féminines permanent.

In England, Lehmann scored 19 goals and provided 10 assists. Internationally, she has made 52 appearances for Switzerland, including two matches at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, since her debut in a 1-0 win over Scotland on 5 April 2018.
